"Tanya, my dearest one, I know it must pain you, but can you keep another secret?" Mileena asked. She and Tanya were in one of their secret meeting spots, where they could be honest with each other away from prying eyes.
"I will carry your secrets to my grave, Mileena," Tanya reassured her. "Simply tell me what burdens you."
"This is the kind of secret where it's better if I simply show you," Mileena replied before slowly lowering her magenta mask to reveal a maw filled with needle-like teeth. Her lower jaw split open for a few seconds, revealing a third row of teeth that looked identical to the first two rows, before snapping back shut. "Kitana is the only other one who knows of this. These are the teeth of someone who suffers from Tarka."
"Your beauty is still unmatched throughout the realms," Tanya reassured her. "Anyone who cannot see that is simply blind."
Mileena suddenly hugged Tanya, sobbing as she did so.
"You are too kind, dearest Tanya! You, Kitana, Rain, and Jade keep me sane," Mileena said between sobs. She and Tanya remained in an embrace for several minutes, with Mileena slowly regaining her composure. "I dream of an Outworld where people like myself are accepted as we are!"
"When you ascend to the throne, I will do my part to make your dreams a reality," Tanya promised her.
