"You know, while we're all here, we should get to know each other better," Johnny Cage suggested. "I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather not my co stars be total strangers to me."
He and the rest of the warriors (somehow, even Kenshi had agreed to Johnny Cage's idea) Liu Kang had brought to the Wu Shi Academy were currently seated in a circle. The sun had begun to sink beneath the horizon.
"It would be nice to know more about all of you," Raiden said. "Kung Lao and I grew up together, so we know almost everything about each other."
"How did you two meet, anyway?" Kenshi asked.
"My parents brought me to his house one day when we were two," Raiden began. "Our families were friends for generations."
"It goes back to the time our ancestors teamed up to fight Damashi, a powerful sorceress known for her web of deceptions," Kung Lao added. "After her possible death, they made a vow that our families would support each other in both war and peace."
"I kind of figured something like that was going on," Johnny Cage commented. "All right. Let's break the ice, learn more about each other. How about... two truths and a lie? That's a classic icebreaker!"
