As Liu Kang was brewing a cup of tea, he heard a knock on his door. He strode through the meticulously-kept room and opened the double doors to reveal Smoke and Rain,
who seemed to be in the middle of a debate.
"Welcome! Come inside," Liu Kang commanded the two masked men. "What is it the two of you seek on this fine day?"
"We need the truth, Lord Liu Kang," Smoke began. "This wizard swears up and down that he won a trailer in a contest and that I'm the intruder!"
"And this Earthrealm ninja sincerely believes that he won the trailer and that I am the intruder," Rain added. Liu Kang sighed. He hoped that this wouldn't lead to a
war between Earthrealm and Outworld, but Smoke and Rain seemed to want to avoid coming to blows. Liu Kang knew he needed to resolve this conflict peacefully, so he stepped
outside the temple.
"Lead me to this... trailer," Liu Kang said. "I wish to learn the truth behind it myself." The three began to descend the tall mountain.
